Arcadia Biosciences was one of 10 to be awarded a biofuels-related grant from the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). The grant “will modify a number of genes involved in oil biosynthesis to induce grasses to produce vegetable oil.”
